One Lawndale Youth Unity Project 2026 will leverage the best of our learnings and community collaborations so that beginning June of 2026 Lawndale adolescents will engage in powerful programming that heals, builds towards a united Lawndale, impacting hearts, minds and the block.
2026 will feature the emergence of our holistic racial healing and artivism immersive program based on the successful proof of concept from our Pilots. This is an intergenerational project that integrates local wisdom of Lawndale elders, community resources and arts partners plus key lessons on the history of South Lawndale and how it became known as "Little Village"/La Villita.
