Our Projects

One Lawndale Youth Unity Project

One Lawndale Youth Unity Project 2026 will leverage the best of our learnings and community collaborations so that beginning June of 2026 Lawndale adolescents will engage in powerful programming that heals, builds towards a united Lawndale, impacting hearts, minds and the block.

Artivism Project of Lawndale with Mural Arts Park

100% of our APL respondents agreed or strongly agreed:
"I feel comfortable, seen and heard when engaging with other people about race and identity."
"I feel empowered to work on racial solidarity in Lawndale between brown and black adolescents."

Racial Healing Pilot

12 Lawndale Youth. 24 hours together. Powerful, deep work facilitated by Maraliz Salgado based on the F.L.Y.L.I.B.R.E. framework, aimed at dismantling the systemic ways we internalize racism, offering visions of unity & solidarity between black and brown people, and practicing affirming ways to practice both collective healing and individual liberation.

Youth Design Squad

Our YDS co-designed, created and installed our first project this Autumn in Lawndale, together with partners at Resolver Studio and Douglas Park Creative Space!
